This project studies the urban fabric from the ground up using small building designs that respond and fit into the urban context. This project explores and analyzes designs within a built environment while studying measures (regulations, bylaws, policies, etc.). This is explored through an understanding of street design in relation to various categories and modes of transportation
This city further studies the design of the built environment as an ensemble of buildings, streets, and spaces. It touches upon relationships between buildings and streets, figures and fabric, etc., creating an in-depth understanding of city urbanization.
The city design incorporates a "walkable city" idea by prioritizing walking, cycling, and transportation rather than a vehicle-oriented city. In doing so, the city flows from residential to mid-rise and to high-rise. Citizens are able to roam freely and explore that city without the busy streets that are developed in current cities.
